I finally got video of Nicolas walking!!!! He is doing awesome and is pretty much only walking now, very little crawling.

Sunday

I know! It has been TOO long since I have posted any pictures!! We have all been sick, and a couple still aren't 100%.
Last week Nicolas started walking!!!!! I have been trying to get him on film, but every time I get the camera out he plops down. Of course he waited to start walking until I had left the house- I was only gone 20 minutes before he walked all the way across the living room!! He is doing really great, but still crawls more than walks.
Little Eddie is doing amazing in school, and he is now READING!!! It is unbelieveable and so awesome to watch. Here we are at the highest point in New Jersey- only about 30 minutes from our house in a beautiful state park.

Niagara Falls

We just got back from a wonderful 4 nights in Niagara Falls, Canada!! Eddie had an assignment with the bridge commission for 2 days and we decided to tag along since Eddie and I have talked about going for the last 4 years. We ended up going a day early since a big snowstorm was coming the day we had planned to leave- and thank goodness we did!! Took 6 hours to get there, which wasn't too bad, all thanks to the wonderful people who created portable DVD players. The kids each have their own screen so there was practically no screaming the whole time! Then we ended up staying an extra night to see some more sights. We lucked out and got a fabulous suite overlooking both falls- visiting during off season is so much cheaper!!! We saw a famous bird sanctuary, butterfly conservatory, icewinery (yum!) and of course, the FALLS!! I don't think it got above 24 degrees the whole time we were there, and snow at some point each day, but was still worth it. No crowds- except at the bird conservatory where 3 busloads of foreign exchange students were dropped off 5 minutes before we got there. And to top it all off we got to go to another country where the people were very friendly (and talkative!). O Canada!

Here are a couple pictures of us hanging out since it's too cold to play outside. Also two HILARIOUS videos. Nicolas is perfecting his game of "Dropsies" in one video. The other video Eddie had gotten out his old school CD's and I guess Nicolas was a big fan of one song... Enjoy!

I took Eddie bowling for the first time today and his best friend Johnathon came too! They had a fun time, but one game was enough!! The boys liked to lay and watch the ball hit the pins. (going so slow they had plenty of time...)

We had a great visit today with Ed, Grace, Christina and Tiffany (Christina and Tiffany live in CO). If was a fun day and wish we could see them more often!! Eddie got a fun archaeology (sp?) set from them and was searching for things all day. Nicolas really enjoyed the box it came in, and also the shovel.
