Updates

I know it has been a while since I posted last! The exciting news is that little Eddie started soccer yesterday!!! He LOVED it and after 2 hours still didn't want to leave. He will only play on Sunday's and guess who volunteered to coach?? Yep, Daddy! Should be lots of fun. Look, a plane!!

Fun weekend!

Well turns out we had a rather busy weekend! Friday night little Eddie had his concert to end Vacation Bible School! He got to get up on stage with his group and sing and dance to a song they learned during the week. He did awesome!! He loves music! Then Saturday morning Eddie had to work, but that evening we went to a car show and had a great time. We took Eddie's special car (his Mustang), which Nicolas had never ridden in before. The ride was a treat in itself, and the kids loved it! At the show there were hundreds of cars, even saw a Ferrari and quite a few Porche's and old cars as well. It is held at a really cool restaurant and they do this every Saturday in the summer. Amazing that the turnout is so great when they have one so often! I think we will definitely go again. Then on Sunday Eddie took us to a huge mall in Jersey on the waterfront, and right outside the mall is a great view of New York City! There is a watertaxi that will take you right downtown, but it was a little too warm that day to walk around NYC. Some other time!

I found some random pictures from last week on my camera today! Nicolas' new favorite thing to do is get up on the couch now that he can do it all by himself. So he is always up there! And big brother has showed him how to be crazy on there so we have already had a few spills.

This week Eddie is attending a local church (where we attend MOPS) for their Vacation Bible School!!! They do a really awesome job and the whole church is decorated with a theme, and all the volunteers dress along. This year is an Austrailian theme.

To race, or not to race?

All three Eddie's went to Nascar today!! Well, they tried anyway. We had tons of rain, so it took them more than 2 hours to get to the stadium (should have taken 1 hour), then didn't get to see all the cars like they thought they would (have to have VIP passes for that), then sat around for 3 hours for the race to start, which ended up being cancelled due to rain. Maybe next year, right!?
