Visitors!!

Well I have really been slacking on my picture taking this last week!!! My parents are in town and we have just been enjoying having them around and so are the kids. Barbara Akst came to see us all on Monday and we had a great visit. Then today Ed and Grace came for Nicolas' birthday celebration. We ate cake AFTER Nicolas went to bed since he is working on at least 4 teeth right now, including 2 molars, and he is pretty much miserable. Love seeing all of our family and I promise to take more pictures!!

Spaghetti and dishes

Here is Nicolas with his first attempt at spaghetti. He hasn't been feeling well for almost a week and has not been very interested in eating. So I thought I would let him try, and he ate one bite and mushed the rest of it around for 20 minutes. Since my dishwasher is broken and we may have to wait a whole WEEK to get it fixed, we have to do our own dishes- NOOOOOO!! Dispite using paper we still have a lot that needs washed, so I thought I would find myself an assistant. Luckily he LOVES his new job and does nice work. The best part though, is that he works for hugs and kisses.....

Snow

The aftermath of our "blizzard" a couple days ago. Didn't get a ton of snow, probably only 6-8 inches, but crazy winds for 3 days!! Eddie went out to shovel as soon as it stopped coming down, and was 14 degrees and really windy!

Nicolas turns 1!!!

Well our baby turned one year old today!! We had a very low key day. Nicolas got a fancy breakfast of pancakes, and a fancy dinner of grilled cheese with pasta and veggies!! After dinner we did the traditional cake eating, and while he liked the cake, I think he had more fun mashing it.
