Games and planes!

We had quite the action packed weekend!

We started out Friday evening by watering our little garden. Nicolas loves to help Daddy! And Eddie loves to help Daddy by turning the water on and off

Lots of water is good for little gardens :)

After some dinner it was off to the kids first baseball game! We had a great time and actually made it to the 6th inning.

Awesome view of all the action

One of Eddie's classmates sat next to us during the game and was kind enough to get a family shot- note how thrilled little Eddie looks!

Saturday morning it was time for the Military Child Festival on base! Lots of bounce houses, games, and food. The best part was that everything was FREE!!

Here Eddie is sliding down and Nicolas is getting mentally prepared

And he's off! They LOVED this one and we literally had to drag them off after about 5 slides

We even got to visit the base firetruck!

It was really high, but Nicolas wasn't scared

After a while at the festival it was time to head to Eric and Chantil's in South Carolina! Nicolas had a LOT of fun at the festival and was zonked out.

Eddie was happy to be on his way to see his buddies!

Once at Eric and Chantil's, the kids were immediately obsessed with the dogs. Nicolas loves them, but likes it better when there is a little distance between them. Uncle Eric was a safe spot to be.

Safe to see the doggies, but not get "kissed" Eddie was smitten with them as well- can you tell? This went on for a while...

Aunt Chantil helped Nicolas play with Gizmo without having to get too involved

On our way out of their development headed for our hotel we saw an awesome sunset!

The next morning we got the truck loaded up and I ran in to check out of the hotel. Eddie pulled up to the door but told the kids they were leaving me. They both burst into tears! So cute, had to get their pics since they were still teary eyed when I got back in.

Look at those crocodile tears! (You may have to enlarge the photo to see them)

That day we were headed for the beach- and the Blue Angels!!! We had a 2 hour wait to wander the boardwalks and check things out. Here is Eric and Chantil waiting patiently.

And here is Nicolas waiting "patiently". Looking for alligators I think.

Group shot! Not the best, but you get the idea.

Aunt Chantil was helping to keep little Eddie occupied- he is pretty attached to her.

Uncle Eric, Aunt Chantil, and a monkey!

Giving Uncle Eric some love

After 2 hours in the sun, Uncle Eric's head was getting a little red, so little Eddie let him borrow his hat.

And finally! It was time to watch the show! It was trully amazing.

Eddie was not a huge fan of the noise, so he decided to sit in the stroller to be a little safer

After 3 hours in the sun, running around with Gizmo and Astra, and much playing with Uncle Eric and Chantil, it was time to go home. We made it 2 hours before Nicolas was knocked out- 20 minutes before we got home at bedtime. It was a great power nap for him and a long night for us. But we had such a great weekend!!

We could sit here all day. Emily wants "more airplanes" "more airplanes"...

Glad y'all had such a great weekend... we love the videos. I especially like Eddie wondering why those airplanes have to come back. :)
