Snow day in October

Well we had a freak snowstorm yesterday- 3 days before Halloween!!!- and really got dumped on!! We ended up with 8-10 inches, terrible winds, and lost power for 10 hours. You can only imagine how much fun that was alone with 2 kids!!! A tree slowly made it's way on to our power line from the weight of the snow, but luckily nothing snapped and the power company came to cut it down about 5:30 this morning. I can only imagine what the rest of the winter will be like...

Fall fun

Saturday

Today we had a nice day of shopping at Lowes (yeah!) and visiting a local historical home. Great weather and 6 hours of installing a new living room fan. Hey! It was our first electrical experience! :) We already LOVE it and even better it was more than 50% off....

Apple Orchard

We took a field trip today to pick apples and had a great time! What a fantastic day, and actually turned out to be quite warm! Little Eddie was our special apple picker and he loved it, would have picked them all day if he could.
Eddie has been working on the back of the yard as well and it is coming right along!

We visited a farm today in PA with my MOPS group- Mother's of Preschoolers- and had a blast!!! We got to do so many activities and it was a fantastic day! The weather couldn't have been any more beautiful...
