The move south- again
I wish I could say this was the last time we will be moving for a very long time, but I can't. The reason is that we are renting an apartment while we look for a new home! So only one, small, in-city move to go and THEN there will be no more moving for a very long time. Let's start at the beginning. There was a lot to pack, but luckily we knew we wouldn't be in New Jersey permanantly so we had plenty of boxes of stuff sitting in the garage and so we only had to pack what was in the house. Eddie and Daddy needed a packing break, playing games on Daddy's phone.
Just a smidgeon of our hard work
After the wonderful movers came and loaded up all of our worldly belongings into a 29 ft. semi-trailer (our stuff was packed to the 21 foot line!!!!), we were off on our next wonderful adventure. We spent one more night in town at a hotel, and the next day we drove half the way and spent the night with the Akst's! And they had a surprise for me! A delicious birthday cake and balloons to celebrate my big year.
There was an even bigger surprise- Jennifer! She had tricked me into believing she wouldn't be able to make it, and I was so very happy to see her! We even got to have a girls dinner out and relax.
Getting some birthday love from Mrs. Mom
The girls!
Mrs. Mom is a foster dog mom, and this is her beloved Max. Nicolas was absolutely in LOVE with him!! He was so great, Nicolas just loved on him, layed on him, petted him and played with him the whole time.
Eddie was excited too!
They also found Jason's lego castle and had a super fun time playing so nicely with it.
The next day we were off to finish the drive and settle into our hotel for the weekend before we were getting the keys to the apartment. This scene struck me as funny and very 2011. Nicolas with his Leapster, Eddie with his DS, and Bama with her laptop.
And in the next room Daddy was working on his laptop!
Over the weekend we made a few trips to the new apartment to do some cleaning and rest. Daddy was pretty tired so he just layed on the floor and fell asleep for an hour or so. Eddie thought he would check it out, but it wasn't very comfortable.

I love being a part of your lives! Love reliving all the special moments. Love being bama/mama!
XXOO MMM MM
lots of cute pictures...I don't really like to think about "moving chores" though! Better when you got the Akst's, the hotel and the BEACH!!
XOXO
