Nicolas is so excited to play with the drums that Daddy is putting together!
We had a fun Labor Day weekend with lots of trips and activities!! On Saturday we went to a local ski resort that was hosting a Garlic Fest- yum! It was perfect weather and bought all sorts of garlic products. The kids weren't as excited as we were, but did pretty good over all.
Sunday we took a short train ride into New York City to walk around and see some sights. We had a delicious chinese lunch and then walked about 50 blocks roundtrip to Central Park. We had another fabulous weather day and again, the kids weren't thrilled since they couldn't walk very much since there were people everywhere. And we have decided that we will go back to the city, but without the kids!
Monday we had a little cooler day but still wonderful and went just down the road to a state park that I had heard good things about, to take a hike. It was so great!! There were several waterfalls and the kids were able to walk the whole time, although they did have to hold our hands because some areas were steep and rocky. We will be going back there often I think! The kids definitely enjoyed the hiking day a lot more than the rest of the weekend...

It is always more fun to get out and explore!! I am glad to see that there is another child out there that refuses milk for the most part.
Sounds like a fun fun weekend! Y'all really make good use of every weekend, I think!

Put the falls park on your list to take me to when I get there! Beautiful scenery. Glad that Eddie is home for most weekends and that you always explore a new place!

LOVE the picture of the 4 of you on the rock in Central Park! Good for you two, exploring fun things to do! The kids make memories of these types of outings! Even just to howl about the time they had to endure a GARLIC FESTIVAL!!
